Allen L Sheetz

Allen has worked for 20+ years as a creative director, content strategist, writer, editor and producer in print, web, interactive and video/film media. Staff writing, editing and producing gigs have been with MSN, MSNBC, Sidewalk/Citysearch, PhotoDisc/Getty Images, Curiosity Group and Experience Lab.

His writing has appeared in Salon, Rolling Stone and Advertising Age, among other publications, and clients have included Adobe, Apple, Cambia Health Solutions, Dell, Disney, DreamWorks, Group Health Cooperative, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Microsoft Press, Nike, Norm Thompson Outfitters, Oregon Humane Society, Portland Trail Blazers, Providence Health & Services, Royal Robbins, Sony and Warner Bros.

Tilth Creative Collaborative, his boutique agency, was born of the fortuitous opportunity to work with like-minded professionals on agreed-upon projects that challenge, engage and effect positive impact upon people and the planet. He is also presently engaged in developing an outdoor-activities-themed mobile app.

Allen has BAs in English and advertising/journalism from San Diego State University. His eco-educational young-adult novel — about an imaginative boy, his missing-presumed-drowned father and a telepathic Sasquatch tribe, all set in a fictional ex-logging township on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula — is in progress (don’t hesitate to request the first chapter!).
